Welcome!

The emergence of diet pills in popularity came, with promises like, "melt away pounds
easily." "Look better in no time at all." Look and feel great without exercising," and lots
more. If you think diet pills are going to be a quick and easy fix for a few extra pounds,
then here's some bad news — not only are diet pills an ineffective way to lose weight
permanently, they can even kill you. With so many forms, varieties and types, diet pills
don't usually work for everyone since they have different chemical compositions as well
as the patients having different reactions. Diet pills can have an inadvertent effect on
each individual. Many diet pills can cause: high blood pressure, heart palpitations and
irregular heartbeats, dizziness, blurred vision, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, or
depression. This is due to the fact that the drug is taking away important vitamin
supplements to the body. Vitamin deficiencies that result from these drugs can lead to
dry skin, hair loss, etc.

Our blog will cover all aspects of the "Diet Pill Craze." Thanks for reading!!

What has caused the diet pill craze to begin with? ObesityinAmerica.org/trends.html demonstrates how weight among most groups has trended upward according to data collected from 1991 to 2003. The website also shows the prevalence of Type II Diabetes, Hypertension and Cholesterol in overweight US adults. People are suffering from health issues due to their extra weight but insult is added to injury as people make the decision to take the "easy way" and utilize diet pills. Many people learn it is not the easy way.

Risking health to be thin…

People in today’s society are obsessed with the idea of being thin. There are many diet pills ads that promise quick and lasting results, but fail to deliver. People that desire to lose or maintain their weight should consider lifestyle changes in regards to exercise and their choice of food.

http://www.foodanddiet.com/NewFiles/dietpills.html discusses diet pills, dangerous ingredients, and side effects. The website also provides information on FDA approved diet pills. FDA approved diet pills are not necessarily safe. In fact many of the FDA approved drugs can be habit forming and have serious side effects. Patients should always contact their physician prior taking diet pills.
